Our Four Ingredient Homemade Guacamole

Our Four Ingredient Homemade Guacamole

This weekend, somebody is going to ask you how long it took you to make that AMAZING guacamole. You'll just have to decide how honest you feel like being.

The truth is, this homemade guacamole uses four ingredients and takes about six minutes.

And we'll take the Pepsi Challenge against just about any restaurant guac out there.

Seriously.

Wanna know how it's made?

Just mash four ripe avocados, stir in a quarter cup of Blue Smoke Salsa Hot, the juice of one fresh lime, and half a teaspoon of salt. Of course, you can taste and adjust to fit your preferences. We do prefer to keep it chunky, like our salsa, as smooth guacamole is a texture choice we respect but do not share.

If you are preparing this ahead, make sure to press down plastic wrap on top and refrigerate. This will help keep the avocado from turning brown...cause nobody wants brown guac.

That's it. Easy peasy. Lemon squeezy...or in this case, lime.

When you're ready to serve it up, chips are the obvious move during football season, but this is also great on toasted sourdough the next morning. For a real pro move, add a chopped boiled egg for some protein and more depth.

So when they ask you how long you spent dicing tomatoes and onions and jalapeños to make the best guacamole they've ever had, feel free to tell them whatever you want.

It's our little secret.
